WEE NOTIONS AI2's

Our new AI2 (All in Two) Cloth Nappies consist of an outer funky layer, a hidden layer of Waterproof PUL (these nappies DO NOT need a separate waterproof wrap) and a soft micro-fleece, cuddlesoft or Minkee inner (which will be super soft where it touches your babies skin i.e. on the wings etc). They fasten at the sides with a range of poppers which can be altered separately for the waist and leg and have a generous rise (details in the table below). Poppers on the back panels are placed under the inner layer and therefore are not in direct contact with your child's delicate skin.

The pattern used to make the outer for our AI2 is the same as our side snap pocket pattern, so if you like the fit of our Side Snap Pockets, you should love the fit of these too!

Our AI2's have an absorbent insert which snaps onto the front of the nappy, these are purchased with your AI2, and can also be purchased separately. The great thing about AI2's is that you can buy several inserts, and once one has been used (if the outer part of the nappy is not dirty or wet) you can simply snap a clean insert into it, and away you go.

As you can see from the picture above, the 6 layer insert folds out into one long rectangle, to aid drying time. To assemble the nappy, snap the poppers on the insert onto the nappy, then simply fold the back of the insert towards the front, and then the front of the insert over the top to the back. This will leave you with a rectangular insert, shown here:

The top of the insert will touch your babies skin, and therefore you can choose from several options, including stay dry layers or natural organic fabrics.

We have two main types of insert to choose from:

1) Bamboo towelling, topped with organic bamboo velour.

2) Bamboo towelling and Microfiber topped with a stay dry layer (Micro-fleece, Cuddlesoft or Minkee).

Sizing:

When choosing the correct size nappy for your child, where possible it is best to use their waist, thigh and rise measurements rather than their weight.

Each box above has smallest size to largest size. Small measurements are taken with elastic at rest and large measurements are taken with the elastic fully stretched (rise measurements are taken fully stretched). ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATE.
