Side Snap Pockets

Our NEW AND IMPROVED Side Snap Pocket Nappies consist of an outer funky layer, a hidden layer of Waterproof PUL (these pocket nappies DO NOT need a separate waterproof wrap) and a soft micro-fleece or Minkee stay dry layer which goes against your babies skin.  They fasten at the sides with a range of poppers which can be altered separately for the waist and leg and have a generous rise (details in the table below) **now also available with a standard rise**.  Poppers on the back panels are placed under the inner layer and therefore are not in direct contact with your child's delicate skin.

Pocket nappies need to have absorbent inserts placed between the micro-fleece and PUL, these can be purchased with your pocket or you can use anything absorbent. I have found terry squares and prefolds also work well.

The pattern used to make these pockets is based on our NorthernLights pattern, so if you like the fit of our NorthernLights, you should love the fit of these too!

Sizing:

When choosing the correct size nappy for your child, where possible it is best to use their waist, thigh and rise measurements rather than their weight.

* We used to offer a high rise option only, but have now added a standard rise option.

 

PLEASE NOTE - I have made some slight adjustments to the small pocket nappy pattern (I have updated the table above), the new changes will be in effect from 04/11/09.  these changes are designed to lower the rise and increase the space in the pocket where you add the insert.

Each box above has smallest size to largest size.  Small measurements are taken with elastic at rest and large measurements are taken with the elastic fully stretched (rise measurements are taken fully stretched).  ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATE.
